"(E)Motion: Management of emotions for dance students" was created by Lidia Arriola, dancer and youth worker from ON&OFF, as a seminar to exchange good practices between 4 entities dedicated to dance (Kinitiras Horotheama - Greece, VSL Kurybos Kisene - Lithuania, L'Espace ASDC - Italy), to strengthen ties and develop more youth research projects related to dance in the future. We set the execution date from the 18th to the 23rd of March 2020, and purchased the flights for Kinitiras, the greek entity. On February 28th, seeing the situation caused by COVID19 in the world, and the fact that our partner entities told us that they did not want to travel, we asked the ANE for our first postponement to October 2020. On March 11th we were confined in La Rioja. After the confinement caused by COVID19, Lidia decided to leave ON&OFF and as none of the people who stayed as youth workers had Lidia's knowledge in dance, we decided to modify the objectives a bit so that the seminar would focus on theatre and dance theatre. Thus, we consulted the initial entities if they were still interested in participating, expanding to students of theatre and dance theatre, from August 28th to September 2nd, 2021. The result of this consultation was that: VSL Kurybos Kisene - Lithuania, L'Espace ASDC - Italy, decided to retire and Kinitiras Horotheama - Greece, remained in the project. We invited entities we usually work with: Calypso-il teatro per il sociale - Italy and Caprifolen Voltigeklubb - Sweden, and both confirmed their participation, we kept the same number of days (6 days), but reduced the number of participants per entity from 4 to 3 so that we could adjust the budget with the expenses already made, before suspending the first time. So we were finally able to carry out the seminar (E)Motion - Management of emotions for theatre students with the aim of: - To create a space in which youth workers from other countries can share, exchange and acquire new good practices to implement in youth work. - To create synergies within the aforementioned organizations and their staff, and increase technical capacity within coordination and management teams to create educational projects that involve young people from different countries. - To apply at the local level new good practices in emotional accompaniment to theatre and dance theatre students. - To visit public institutions and local ON&OFF partners, to evaluate which youth policies could be replicated in the respective countries. - To expand the possibilities of financial and transnational cooperation of the participating organizations. - To facilitate activities related to visibility, know the programs of each entity, seek ways to facilitate networking between entities. - To follow the aforementioned objectives step by step and reach a satisfactory level of the general objectives of the project. - To promote the active participation and cooperation of the participants, ensuring expressive time space for each entity, giving the possibility of publicizing its structure, its local programs, its next Erasmus + projects and the best practices in intercultural education that have used the theater or dance theater. - To discover the uniqueness of the countries present in the project to develop better international relations. - To acknowledge of the Erasmus + programme as a way to achieve a more egalitarian, less exclusive society, away from racism, sexism, homophobia. - To increase recognition at local, regional, national and European level of non-formal and theater education.
