We presented the Youth Exchange "VISTOS", with the intention of holding it from 01/08/2020 to 8/08/2020, due to the confinements related to the COVID19, we asked the ANE for a change of date and extension of the Convention and so we took forward the youth exchange on the LGBTQ community and its problems in order to discuss with the participants and listen to their opinions and experiences to give visibility to the global problem of intolerance towards the LGBTQ community and to find tools to combat it. Initially "Calypso" (Italy), Loimaan Teatteri (Finland), BiondekBühne (Austria) and Crooked House (Ireland) were invited to participate with 9 participants each, but when BiondekBühne announced that they were not coming, we invited STET (Netherlands). The partners communicated the difficulty they were having in finding participants, so we were sharing places between countries until the last minute. The aim of this project was to bring together 46 people from 5 different countries to talk about discrimination against the LGBTQ community, to create a street performance about LGBTQ issues, how to be an ally to them and to fight against this discrimination. We use this week to discuss, share and learn with our partners and with our young people using theatre to improve their theatre skills and to be aware of LGBTQ issues so that when they go back to their home countries, they return as allies of the LGBTQ community and not silent about the discrimination LGBTQ people face in their everyday lives. The objective of setting up a street performance was achieved on 19-08-2022 in the Plaza de Ortigosa de Cameros, where the Exchange finally took place. We did not travel to Logroño to perform because we had to avoid unnecessary mobilities, especially due to the last throes of COVID19. In this way we gave visibility to this project and its subject. Another objective was to resume mobilities with our partners and to know their current status after COVI 19, in order to continue establishing collaborations, support, inspiration, good practices and future ERASMUS+ projects. Our objectives coincide with the specific objectives pursued by the Erasmus + Programme in the youth field: To improve the level of key competences and skills of the young people: during this exchange the participants improved their levels of key competences in foreign languages, as they all worked in English, had to look for similarities, increase vocabulary and acquire fluency in physical and real communication with human beings (we should not forget that these young people came from almost 2 years of confinement due to the measures taken by COVID19 .) Except for the Irish participants, English is the second language, yet for them the key competence of expressing themselves in their mother tongue was also a learning experience, as they helped others with grammar and pronunciation in English. We identified various issues affecting members of the LGBTQ community and worked to find non-violent reactive tools to combat them. Active citizenship. Improving the quality of work for young people, in particular through increased cooperation between youth organisations and associations. Youth organisations and local partners have been contacted for this exchange: GYLDA LGTBI+ La Rioja /// Marea Arcoíris La Rioja /// Chrysallis - Asociación de Familias de Menores Transexuales,, taking an interest, but without collaborating in a direct way. The collaboration that ON&OFF has with these organisations improves every time we work with them, especially the links between the organisations. It is especially that bond of connection between young people when we work on sensitive issues such as this one.
