The "Learning to Participate" project arises from the need to improve the quality of youth work of our organizations, and thus be able to share examples of good practice in the field of Erasmus + projects, with special emphasis on work issues about values of human rights, non-discrimination, gender equality and social inclusion. We want to build a stronger link between organizations with similar needs and interests through educational activities and youth participation, to improve the quality of future projects and facilitate the participation of disadvantaged youth. We also want to broaden our understanding of EU-driven youth work practices, policies and systems and improve our capacity to respond to social, linguistic and cultural diversity. This activity also aims to support youth workers in their personal and professional development (knowledge, skills and attitudes), and help them find employment opportunities in the European labor market. This need was identified thanks to the work carried out during meetings, discussions, personal meetings and several questionnaires carried out between different associations that have worked together on Erasmus + projects, both in mobility projects and in European volunteering. We want to share the reflections we have gathered after our experiences, learn from the results obtained, contribute more meaning to the activities carried out and improve the quality of future collaborations. The project aims to directly address the issue of the values of non-discrimination, gender equality and social inclusion. We believe that the project is strongly related to the implementation of the "European Union Strategy for Youth 2019-2027" and the objectives and priorities of the Erasmus + projects. - Create a space to develop the opportunity to "learn to participate", so as to encourage interest in cooperation and help young people prepare to participate. - Promote greater intercultural collaboration between international organizations in the field of youth with similar interests. - Share the experiences lived in the different Erasmus + projects, learn new tools and enrich some associations with others. - Improve the quality of youth work, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, in order to share examples of good practice. - Train youth workers with new knowledge, skills and practical experience to increase the active participation of young people. - Actively involve young people and other work organizers in the field of youth in the development of new projects and obtain new financial resources (at local, regional and international levels) - Infuse the sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among European youth - Promote the inclusion of all young people, regardless of the educational, social and cultural context from which they come. - Improve the application of non-formal learning tools, and also ICT communication tools. - Improve employability and promote the figure of the active European citizen. - Promote a healthy lifestyle among young people by participants and also members of the organization - Improve the motivation of youth workers for their activities in the area of youth work. We have decided to gather a wide range of organizations with different levels of experience and knowledge to participate in different aspects of learning. Some of the partners are very active working on Erasmus + projects and have great experience. Others have not yet participated in any mobility and are very interested in learning from the most expert partners, being able to become part of the international work network that is being developed, and being able to discuss the aspects to work in this call such as values of human rights, non-discrimination, gender equality and social inclusion. The diversity of work methods we use, presentations, work in open spaces, creative activities, energizing activities, individual reflection, technical project management, feedback techniques, teamwork, will make more sense than ever to better illustrate the meaning of learning Non-formal and support the empowerment of young people. An essential element of the methodology we will use is based on the holistic nature of the learning experience, through methods that involve not only intellectual approaches, but also cover emotional and attitude aspects.
