Objectives

In this final report, as in the last one we had to do on a European volunteer and the one we have pending volunteering from the time of the pandemic, we are going to focus on what we had planned before the declaration of the state of alarm and everything that happened afterwards and what, finally, we managed to do and achieve. THIS WAS THE APPROACH IN THE INITIAL PROJECT: In recent years, a new educational agent has appeared in all areas of both formal and non-formal education and it is the use of videos as a means of communicating with an audience increasingly accustomed to the use of new technologies. The free use and distribution of video courses and materials makes it possible for anyone with Internet access to access content and learning, until now, only achievable by paying for expensive and lengthy courses at universities or private training centers. In addition, it is a fact that children and young people today are increasingly using the phenomenon of "youtubers" or online content creators to learn about their favorite topics, answer questions and learn both at school and in other settings. That is why it is important to know the advertising keys to know how to convey an idea and thus specify and transmit the message of the work that thousands of organizations carry out. Numerous youth organizations have seen the possibilities that the use of promotional videos allows both for attracting new members and for disseminating their work, raising awareness among the population or as an educational medium, however there were no training courses for educators and youth workers that would allow them to carry out videos with the available means and for this reason the videos they made often turned out to have a very weak message or were technically so poor that they lost their appeal and the public did not clearly perceive the message, and we say they did not exist because they recently began to be designed trainings for this purpose throughout Europe. That is why, knowing Javi Quilez and knowing about his career as a trainer and as a producer of videos for scouts, we suggested that he collaborate with us and we have created this training course for educators and volunteers from NGOs, which through the use of methodologies not Formal, and hands-on, it will allow participants to learn the fundamentals of video shooting, editing, and how to make low- or no-budget video projects for their organizations using their own mobile phones or cameras. His previous experience before designing this course began several years ago in Romania, during an Erasmus+ course called "Graphic Facilitation" and a first version of this course was already carried out in the United Kingdom with unprecedented success. A second version was carried out with great impact in Alicante in 2017, and the local organizations of this town to this day continue to be very grateful for the work that was carried out and the results of the project. The evaluation of these two editions between the two facilitators (Javi and Ruta) and the LEITMOTIV.MOVEMENT organization has made it possible to improve it even more and enhance its strong points. After this analysis it can be determined that: -"A vast majority of youth workers do not have the skills to produce a video that effectively promotes their organizations" and that is what we intend to solve. -Some organizations pay large sums of money to have professionals make a video that they could make themselves if they had the necessary knowledge and skills. -It is not easy to transfer the actions of organizations to the general public and the values that are transmitted often do not correspond to the strategic plan of the organization. Taking all this into consideration, we have drafted the main objectives of this project: General objective: -Develop the video making and marketing skills of youth workers and Young. Goals: 1- During the 6 months of this course, the participants will improve their knowledge as to why use video in education, how to create an efficient story and how to reach disadvantaged groups. 2- During the 6 months of this course, the participants will improve their skills to make recordings, interviews, reports and edit videos for subsequent effective dissemination. 3- After 6 months of the course, the participants will be more confident in their recording skills and will be able to contribute to making a positive change in their organizations and communities in terms of communication, they will have developed their empathy towards people with fewer opportunities and will have a broader cultural vision. WE MANAGED TO MEET ALL THE OBJECTIVES THAT WE SET FROM THE BEGINNING WITH ALL THE CHANGES WRITTEN IN THE SUBSEQUENT SECTIONS.
