Objectives

The year 2019 is marked by the 30th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. However, this celebration seems to leave a bitter taste in the mouths of young people around the world. Since the beginning of the year, thousands of young people have gathered to denounce the current situation (social, political and environmental). Young people fear for their future and are getting involved on a massive scale. Greta Thunberg is just one figure in this struggle. As youth and popular education actors, we cannot remain passive in the face of these situations and it is our duty to support these young people in their initiatives and their struggle. The Erasmus + Programme is an essential tool to promote the commitment of young people in the context of humanist values: social inclusion, defence of human rights, equality, democracy and freedom. Values that we share and that are at the heart of our actions at local, national and international levels. at local, national and international levels. For many years, the international field of CEMEA Pays de la Loire has had strong and solid partnerships with associations in Europe and beyond. Mash'Hed in Tunisia and Laylac in Palestine are among them. Our previous exchanges have confirmed that our young people face common challenges on their respective territories: unemployment, precariousness, climate change... Intercultural exchange projects are answers to these challenges. We must enable our young people to meet, to exchange, to do things together in order to develop an active citizenship to be able to act on the society of tomorrow. By organising youth exchanges, we wish to increase the possibilities of exchanges and encounters between peoples as objective opportunities to better understand the world around us and to act on it in a collective way. In a current context where mutual representations about North Africa, the Middle East or Europe are numerous, this project aims to allow a real intercultural encounter between young people from France, Tunisia and Palestine. Through this project, we have targeted three main issues - To enable children to understand their rights, and in particular, as future generations, to to access and respond freely and fully to their needs. - To show each other that, despite the many representations that we may have about each other's territory, we can about each other's territory, our daily lives and the roles we play in our respective societies are not so different. are not so far apart. This is an opportunity to develop the idea of solidarity, so that tomorrow's societies societies of tomorrow to respond together to international issues. - we want other young people, with fewer opportunities, to have access to mobility. This experience can be a first step to a longer mobility (for studies; CES; civic service...). civic service...) The objectives This project has several objectives. More generally, it aims to - Promote the International Convention on the Rights of the Child by defending access to leisure for all; - Enable young people who are far from mobility to live an emancipating intercultural experience emancipating experience; - To make young people aware of their educational role for future generations in order to to move towards a fairer and more sustainable world
