Originally, the project "Rethinking - Cooperating - Sharing" was conceived as a quadrilateral exchange program between France, Germany, Ukraine and Russia and included two activities in Marseille and St. Petersburg. The main themes were history and reconciliation. However, two factors prevented the realization of this project: first of all, the health crisis which forced the partners to postpone the activities several times, followed by the war against Ukraine and the exclusion of the Russian partners. Nevertheless, instead of letting this idea disappear, we decided to transform the project and to realize at least one trilateral exchange activity on the themes of intercultural cooperation between France, Germany and Ukraine from 23 to 30 July 2022 in Marseille. The main objectives of the activity were : . Language learning . To promote solidarity between young people who do not know each other . - To encourage intercultural learning and dialogue - Developing the skills and attitudes of young people . To discover new cultures, habits and lifestyles . Building self-confidence . Dialogue around the themes of peace A second activity did not take place for several reasons. The project had already been significantly delayed due to the health crisis. The partners hesitated until mid-June 2022 to organize the activity in Marseille in July and the conditions for the organization of a second activity at our partners place in Germany or Ukraine were not gathered to continue in late 2022. The grant initially granted for the second activity was calculated on a departure to a partner country and the group accommodation reservations are made on average one year in advance for a stay in Berlin, therefore we had to exclude a stay in Berlin. Just like the stay in Lviv, with our Ukrainian partners was unthinkable in view of the current political conditions.
