After recognizing the need for development and upgrading newly established patterns of our Alliance Mondiale de la Jeunesse France (AMJF) and our youth work in Europe, youth workers from 6 other organizations decided to partner at the project ˝Training for Human Dignity Defenders˝. Through several meetings of our members at different conferences and projects organized by youth for youth in Europe during 2018 and 2019, youth workers of 7 organization recognized and agreed about the need of setting a good base and improvement of our youth work skills in order to reach more youth, especially marginalized and hard to reach youth, that seems always to be left out to specialized NGOs to handle them. We would like to involve them in our everyday activities and projects, with needed preparation, like all other youth. Problems that were recognized are: 1. Youth workers are missing competences and methods that will bring their youth work at a higher level, so they can reach more youth, especially marginalized and hard to reach youth 2. Youth workers are lacking skills and knowledge in the field of media literacy, critical thinking and sense of initiative among young people, which needs to be transferred to other young people as well 3. Youth organization are lacking high-quality cooperation among themselves so they can not be recognized by youth and other stakeholders as organizations relevant in prevention of violent radicalization among youth and hard to reach youth. Regarding the recognized problems, we at the AMJF also find the information that ‘Tackling the problem of becoming accessible to non-organised or marginalised young people is now felt by all key players to be essential to increase participation by young people (Commission of the European Communities 2006: 9)’. For this cause, we would like to improve our competences, that will help us to include hard to reach youth in our organisations. What all 7 organizations are also deeply believing, is that only if we include youth as partners in the development of our activities for them, and if we listen to their needs and problems, they will feel equal, willing to participate in activities that will make them involved citizens of Europe. As written in the Young people and extremism: a resource pack for youth workers publication, ˝when youth workers, educators and others who have professional relationships view young people as partners, it releases the potential for young people to develop their understanding of the world around them and to use their skills (including critical thinking skills) to work in partnership with adults to bring about social change. And this is a long term solution to preventing the extremism and violent radicalization.˝ Given the complexity, sensitivity and seriousness of extremism (particularly violent extremism), it is all the more important that youth workers have the support they need to sustain them in this work, particularly if they are working closely with young people who may be at risk of involvement in violent Activities. Because of mentioned we will meet the following objectives: 1. Equip 35 youth workers from France, Romania, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Croatia and Austria with competences and methods needed for advocating for the needs of youth - like public communication skills, speaking to media, developing the public campaigns for youth, branding the projects for youth, so they can design and implement relevant programs and activities for hard to reach youth 2. Enhance media literacy - writing the press release, critical thinking - learning how to adapt their activities to hard to reach youth, and sense of initiative - developing new social media campaigns and projects for hard to reach youth, among 35 youth workers, with the aim of developing and strengthening the activities their organisation will organise for the hard to reach youth in 2021; 3. Establish better cooperation among 7 youth organization - with developing new projects, that will strength their connections and enable them to practice existing and new methods and tools they need in their youth work, with the aim of reaching for hard to reach youth and getting them involved in our activities.
