Our TC was designed to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of youth workers and youth leaders working with a main target group: young people in rural and suburban areas struggling with social exclusion, poverty, unemployment and so develop in them a new spirit for challenges and initiatives, we wanted to let those youth workers understand the importance of reflection that must become concrete action, starting for example by re-evaluation and developing of their ideas, to be used in a functional and sustainable way in their local with the other youngsters during their youth work. With this TC NGO Kreaktiva had a strong desire to implement a project in such a large partnership since we were and still are facing an exodus of young people from suburban and rural areas in Osijek Baranja region where we work the most and also our other partners are felt the same since they are struggling with different issues with the same thematic. Our consortium agreed on several issues of concern that we wanted to address through this project. Issues were identified through a SWOT analysis before the implementation of our project: 1. Absence of a mutual agenda and lack of quality working methods for youth workers regarding youngsters suffering issues coming out from rural areas life; 2.Lack of recognition and wide visibility of the best strategies/methods used on this topic; 3.Deficiency of day-to-day cooperative peer-to-peer exchange instruments among youth organizations, especially for those working with our target group. 4. Lack of entrepreneurial approach to exploit rural resources. Specific objectives of our project were: - to analyze the problems of those living in rural areas but also see the potentiality of sustainable development - to improve youth workers' attitude providing them with methods, tools and motivation techniques, which will enable them to work efficiently with the target groups in the rural areas - to support youth work in rural areas and to improve its quality - to reflect on sustainable work and rural entrepreneurship possibilities exploiting rural resources - to give information about Erasmus+ Program and give them the opportunity to make new projects, - to give the NGOs working in rural areas the opportunity to share their experiences, and establish an inter-organizational net - to contribute to the recognition and visibility of good practice and new methods/strategies used to prevent/deal with youngsters suffering problems derived by living in rural areas and by means dedicated dissemination material on Youth work in rural areas, that will be elaborated by Youth workers
