Being part of the dynamically changing labour market, the new generations of youth are facing different challenges nowadays when they are at the start of their careers. New needs and structure of the labour market appeared while the structure of the formal education remained the same. The common development need of our target group is changing as well as its communication and social skills. Meanwhile, the sense of initiative, proactivity and creativity have become extremely important. Employability Guide for Youth - Croatian and Georgian Perspectives project arises from the specific needs of youth entering the labour market and thus specific needs of NGOs and their youth workers, which are active in this field and working with this sector of youth. It is their task to encourage young people in being self-initiative and taking risks at the beginning of their working life. Young people encounter difficulties in the transition from education to labour market. While theoretical knowledge about the labour market can be gained at schools and formal institutions, the youth workers are there to develop their sense of active approach of new generations of youth towards entrepreneurship and to help them to face challenges and surmount the difficulties. The aim of the Employability Guide for Youth - Croatian and Georgian is to introduce improvisational theater as an innovative tool and empower youth workers to apply it in order to increase the sense of youth entrepreneurship. This will help to prepare them to get successfully engaged with the labour market as entrepreneurs, learn from each experience and take these into their local communities. To achieve these, we have set up following objectives: - to develop communication and social skills, and improve the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship through improvisational theater - to increase the capacity of youth workers by enriching their working methods with improvisational theater by offering activities that better respond to the challenges of young entrepreneurs - to provide a space for sharing best practices focusing on using non-formal educational methods in the field of youth work.
