In recent years Hungary, LGBT+ groups and communities are facing various difficulties by severe discrimination and hate speech against them delivered by different platforms like national media and the mainstreaming of general intolerance and harmful hatred on a daily basis. The destructive stereotypes eliminate and make a challenge for LGBTQ+ people in a daly base life. Nonetheless, the homophobic rhetoric is present in most conservative-led European countries and in the rural areas resulting in attacks against gay prides, such as the anti-gay brutality, and leading for hiding and several cases mental and other problems even suicide behave in the LGBTQ+ communities. In a European context, their participation is restrictedly free , but most of the cases they voices are silenced in the public debate. Some people are afraid to participate in public choices and elections, which is an evident threat to the democratic mechanisms. Thus the idea of the project has been harvested from a youth exchange called "Don't be afraid to show your true colors!' It was organized by Volunteering For All in Milcoveni, Romania, where all participants had the opportunity to present a project idea we want to carry on born that time. Then we applied through the Erasmus+ application, when we had partners from all over Europe joining our cause, partners which are facing the same or similar situations, regarding the treatment of LGBT people. The aim of this project is to break stereotypes and prejudices and to promote acceptance and the inclusion of the LGBTQI+ groups in Europe, because we consider developing a feeling of tolerance is not enough, we want through this project to raise awareness about why acceptance should be the main word surrounding the LGBT+ community. These were the main objectives of this project: 1. to create a safe environment, where 36 participants (+6 group leaders) from 6 countries are free to express their own 2. sexual identity during the project; 3. 36 participants (+6 group leaders) to better understand the specifics of LGBT+groups, differences and similarities; 4. to identify the key factors increasing homophobia and trans-phobia in their countries and find innovative tools to fight it; 5. to enable the 36 participants (+6 group leaders) to raise awareness about human rights, tolerance, European values, 6. solidarity and equality regarding LGBT+ groups in their own communities.; 7. to develop the civic spirit, initiative sense and organizational skills for the 36 participants (+6 group leaders), in order to 8. take action against LGBT+ discrimination in their countries. 9. to provide a space for international experience and thus to contribute to creating a convergent European society The needs of the participants in that project are basic human rights related or suffering direct discrimination because of their sexual orientation. They had the chance to learn how to face the situations in different ways, through the road from discrimination to acceptance. The needs of the project partners to take part in this mobility were related to developing skills and competences when working with LGBT+ groups, learning innovative ways against homophobia and trans - phobia; to enable their youth workers to organize activities for raising awareness of the situation with LGBT+ groups in their countries. The project objectives answers the objectives of Erasmus+ programme by involving young people from different countries and also young Roma and Roma LGBTQ, people the discrimination not only exist in the marority its axhiste inside the LGBTQ communiti as well against other minorities or excluded groups for our organization very important to make essential part of our programs to make bridges between different people because everyone is different and we must accept them as they are not judging and make decisions based by stereotypes. We involved youth people from social exclusion, and offered them the opportunity to mobilize and learn from a multicolored experience, to encourage critical thinking, and help them be free with themself and with the other people as well. The main result of this project was a public event for raising awareness about the situation of LGBT+ groups nowadays, a space where the young participants can bring their own life stories, talents, skills in order to make an international event, aiming to sensitize the population in this matter. During our project period we faced several unseen challenges like COVID-19 which made us postpone our project one year from 2020 to 2021. We had administrative changes as well in our staffs, because of personal changes in life. Nevertheless we had good cooperation with our project partners and realized our project one year later. Of course we must adapt our project for the new regulations and must make few small changes to the new situations and circumstances.
