Objectives

The primary objective of the project is the professional and personal development of the participating youth workers in the context of non-formal arts education. This means, on the one hand, that the workshops held under the program provide opportunities for the targeted learning of some of the tools of art education and, on the other hand, an opportunity to experience these from the point of view of the student. We wish to provide our participants with an environment where they can gain professional inspiration, motivation and advanced methods that will enhance the quality of their future work. We are not afraid to apply musical instruments, puppets, toys or even dance for this purpose. In the course of the seminar, we would like to particularly address the education of marginalized youngsters and the difficult situations, conflicts and issues that may arise in this context. Beyond the workshops with a pre-designed methodology and thematics, we would like to share individual experiences and best practices in this field. In addition to these direct objectives, an expected project result is the strengthening of professional relationships, the creation of new contacts and thus the establishment of a long-term cooperation, which, of course, may involve further partners. Thus, this project could represent the first step in a larger-scale regional cooperation that could have a significant impact on many youngsters who are affected through the activity of youth workers.
