In a structure in which human dignity, human rights and freedoms represent fundamental values, social exclusion and discrimination still represent alarming problems - at the European society level. The effects of these social attitudes can be devastating at the societal level, but even more at the individual level. The young volunteers with whom we work on writing this project are young people from all types of social categories, with different material situations, which are involved in different volunteering activities done by our partners in the local communities because they want to contribute somehow to the society. From their experience as volunteers they have learned that people can work together, they can be friends, they can spend time together in a way productive and beautiful, regardless of culture, age, sexual orientation, religion etc. Unfortunately, the communities in which they live have not yet adopted this concept, acts of discrimination, exclusion social, violent expressions according to stereotypes frequently occurring, in families, on the street, in schools, so frequently that people (regardless of their position - excluded or included) have turned them into a habit and continue to hurt or to be hurt. A simple act of discrimination gives birth to hate, hate that can have devastating effects for some people: the impossibility to integrate in the labor market, to have access to education, develop feelings of shame, fear, stress, decreased self-confidence, degradation of physical health and mental, increasing the level of poverty, radicalization and even suicide. Starting from these problems and identified needs, we looked for a method to contribute to their diminution. we found that method in photography. The passion for photography is the second reason why young people want to take part in this project. Whether we're talking about selfies on social networks, family photos, landscape photos from travel, photography is part of the daily life of young people, and not only, everyone’s life. More than so, a photo can say as many as 1000 words. Modern plastic art has become a language of communication. Combining these two aspects, the possible social impact of a photography and the channels so diverse in their distribution, made us choose this method in the fight for social inclusion. In addition, developing photographic skills for young people can open them up opportunities to develop creativity, communication, and even insertion in the labor market. The problems we want to address are social exclusion and discrimination and, through promoting democratic values and through photography, we try to contribute to decrease these attitudes within the societies in which we operate. We establish the following objectives: - Better understanding of European Values - Develop photography skills - Increase awareness of social exclusion - A photo exhibition
