Association Co-Efficient have been working with people living with disability for almost 10 years. Our main goal has been real social inclusion, and for this we created projects, spaces that were welcoming people with all kinds of conditions to work for a common goal together and experience community. We believe that everyone has the right to participate in society regardless of their physical and mental condition. For this the used methodology and the environment is necessary to be made barrier-free. We’ve implemented mainly Erasmus+ (E+) and Youth in Action (YiA) projects with this approach. We have intended for long to involve young people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and to increase awareness and create ability and attitude in youth projects for others to involve participants with autism. We see that in youth work to be able to address autism is underrepresented and social professionals need to know more about and learn methodology adapted to ASD. Paint it Blue project aimed to take the first step to build a partnership synthesising experience and knowledge of experts at development and youth work. Our the project major achievements were: -a total of 20 participants, professionals and stakeholders participated in dialogue about ASD and youth work -exchanged methodology&experience in 6 expert’s sessions and the sessions framing those -learned and shared about autism and the needs of participants living with ASD -explored the circumstances and raised awareness about the importance of adapting methodology and involving participants with ASD in youth projects
