Objectives

One of the basic goals of the Rainbow Tribe Public Benefit Association is to introduce young people to the idea of a sustainable life. The destruction of the environment is one of the biggest, most serious problems of our time, caused by excessive growth and waste Our goal is for young people to learn to appreciate, love nature, understand the environmentally destructive consequences of our way of life, and develop in them the desire and attitude to change, to act, to take an active role. We have tried to ensure that participants, partly independently, partly together, with each other's help, in non-formal methods, discover what disasters can lead to humanity's current way of life, and understand how it can lead to that. The derivation of responsibility ranges from the power-orientedness of states and the profit-oriented nature of giant corporations to the selfish, insatiable desires of each person. The project is successful if they discover and place themselves in this process and the need for change is born. They understand what they can do personally, what a local government can do, and what a government can do. This is how they will be able to make a difference in their own lives and, as active citizens, use their democratic rights to make an impact on local government and realistically understand the various decisions and actions of states. This can educate them to responsible citizenship. Young people were able to discover all this in an international context, forming a community that transcends cultural differences. In the project, emphasis was placed on intercultural encounters. So our project also promoted intercultural dialogue and peaceful cooperation for a common cause for all mankind! Cultural diversity played an important role in the project, as young people came from 7 countries, a significant part of which are partner countries outside the European Union. Getting to know the many different and distant cultures was an extremely good opportunity for young people to strengthen and develop acceptance, tolerance and love of diversity within themselves. We hope this will prevent the cross-cultural conflicts and lead to the realization that ecological problems affect all of humanity transcending nations. This is a problem for all of us, and we must find a solution together. The aim of our project was also to establish long-term cooperation with the partners, because in this diversity has great potential for young people. The long-term strong partnership for every organization it is an improvement because it leads to new projects, to the involvement of young people, to new methods. Outside Europe For partners, a lasting partnership can lead to serious capacity expansion!
