When we started working some of the objectives for the projects were: -Creating a portfolio with a record of new, innovative methods of social inclusion, with particular emphasis on the notions of discrimination, stereotypes, refugees, intercultural learning and exclusion -Reaching the awareness of youth workers about the specificity and complexity of the facilitation process during intercultural meetings and training -Strengthening the competences of youth workers in the context of planning and implementation of effective educational activities at the international level -Expression of various dimensions of culture and how they are connected with intercultural learning - Introducing the social entrepreneurship and how to use it as a tool for raising the awareness among refugees. -Creation of a portfolio with a set of training methods and tools in an intercultural environment, with particular emphasis on including discriminated groups Looking at the objectives, we can confirm that we considered all objectives and we worked toward achieving them through the whole project. The project had a strong impact on all participants but also on the local community of Avola. Thanks to the follow-up activities after the training course, the participants presented in their local communities the final result of the training, and in that way, they exchanged information on the topic and helped to inform their communities about it. Based on participant feedback, we believe we will be able to provide participants with more practical knowledge on organizing large events and help refugees throughout Europe. Thanks to the expertise of the trainers and the project coordinator, we managed to create a model which can be used by everyone while helping the refugees. Besides the practical knowledge and skills we managed to transfer to the youth workers on the project, this project served as a good platform for creating new contacts and networks. This will help participants organize a much bigger campaign where the refugees will be the target group..
