he technological and digital revolution of the 90s has brought about an epochal change whose effects, far from being completed or fully understood, have invested every area of Western society. This is due to the development of the so-called "online" dimension that has brought down the obstacles of time and space in the dissemination of communication and messages. For the first time in history, billions of people have had access, at no cost and in real time, to an unimaginable amount of information and news . With the subsequent advent of social networks, the same relationship between producer of news (traditional media) and user has profoundly changed making the difference between these two categories increasingly blurred. While this has represented a new era for free information and the circulation of ideas, on the other hand it has offered a powerful and deadly weapon to those who, through the manipulation of information, pursue criminal and illegitimate objectives. The false news, the manipulation of information, the mystifications have been part of every age of humanity but it is thanks to the tools of online technologies that they manage to have a very dangerous effectiveness. So, the main aim of our project is actually to meet together organizations interested in international development of youth work related to media literacy and to create a space for designing common initiatives. Concrete objectives will be: - To meet together successful and perspective organizations from both sides, working in different areas of media literacy: education, social services, youth work. - To explore the concepts of media literacy and all the phenomenon which are affecting journalism and world of news for young people - To share the most used tools by young people online and how to deal with them in order to raise awareness of young users and also tools for youth workers on the topics of fake news, post truth, troll and entropy who will act as multipliers with young people of their communities - To analyse potential of organizations and territories where those organizations work and to discuss possible projects for cooperation inside Erasmus Plus program and in the frames of other initiatives - To develop innovative activities on media literacy to be used in youth work at international level with young people - To create a network of youth workers who promote fair journalism among young people in Europe and facilitate dialogue among different actors of society to propose new policies.
