The project "Live as you dance" included trilateral youth exchange held in Italy, from the 5th to 11th of August 2022. Project partners are the Bulgarian organizations European Association of folklore festivals – EAFF, based in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, the association Centar za Balkanska Sorabotka - LOJA, based in Tetovo, North Macedonia and the cultural and music association Toma Toma, based in Montefalcone nel Sannio, Italy. This project has aimed to create an exchange of cultures, languages, visions and practices around music. Music communicates in powerful ways that language just can't, that's why we have decided to use it in the best way and we implemented socially responsible project that helped our communities and our youth to feel part of the European society participating actively in the initiatives of the European Commission while promoting aggregation and social inclusion, spreading the correct values of our culture and lives with the most vulnerable groups. The title of the project "Live as you dance" fully represent the objectives we have reached: the fight against discrimination and social exclusion through music because when you dance you don't pay attention to social classes, skin color, gender, ethnicity, you can really express yourself while transferring strong feelings and empathy onto observers; discovering new cultures just like when you learn new moves and new dance styles; the meeting of these cultures in order to produce a new artistic creation like when mixing diffrent styles to create new choreography; finding a new source of inspiration in foreign environment; exploring new artistic perspectives and the professional world of art; openness to new visions and new opportunities for socially sustainable projects; the development and enrichment of skills and creativity. In particular, project objectives were: - to promote inclusive activities towards groups at risk of social exclusion, offering young people new opportunities to express themselves and to get to know new artistic practices and visions. - to reinforce knowledge, promote socio-cultural inclusion, raise awareness about exclusion and social marginalization; - to deepen knowledge of artistic and cultural pratices to increase job and inclusion opportunities and to develop creative potential of young people. - to acquire new skills and learn about the means to certify them: Youthpass and Europass. - to upgrade the skills of young people by constructing such activity in which language is not a barrier to transfer the message. - to discover new cultures, new languages, new customs and to contribute to broader cultural vision at European level. - to promote the importance of international mobility, hosting activities and the openness to the international dimension of our initiatives that will enable young people to learn about European programs and to feel more European taking part in European life. The goal reached was also to build a network of contacts and strengthen the potential of the staff in such a way that it creates within our organizations a professional and dynamic environment, working with young people through creative and effective methods.
