Background

The project idea was born in the summer of 2019 and the partner organizations ensured that it was transformed into an Erasmus plus proposal ready for the deadline of October 2019. The drafting instead of this project report in 2022, brings with it the aftermath of the period pandemic and the still current war in Ukraine and shows how Youth work now lives in a changing context where confrontation, memory, and cooperation are fundamental, further strengthening the value and relevance of the initial design idea. The partners needed a "room" where they could share approaches and methodologies applied to youth work in their respective countries. It is known to most that Youth work differs greatly between European countries, with characteristics also linked to the socio-educational and historical-cultural background and traditions. Thus, themes and topics covered, practices and approaches used, provided learning opportunities for partners and participants. The partners used this project to strengthen their role in their local networks, emerging as actors who carry out quality youth work and are invited to political discussions on youth issues.
