The project idea (back to 2019) came along with a rapidly developing technologies and the way how we work and what tools we apply. Youth work wasn't an exception. With this TC we were proposing solutions that value the needs of both adults and youngsters and support communication between them, by providing digital knowledge and skills and finding creative ways on combining analog and open-air activities in youth work with digital tools and apps that are used by youngsters, through a hands-on approach and experience. During TC we worked with a wide spectrum of tools and applications to experience creative and fun ways of using them with the focus on digital outdoor activities. The participants were invited to discover the concept of digital youth work and to discuss current realities and challenges we are facing as youth workers working and living in a more and more digitalised world. Participants were prepared to develop their own ideas for new digital activities and projects and share their own experience of working with and using digital tools. Objectives of the Training were: a) To explore, share experience and build skills in the field of digitally based experiential learning b) To discover some digital tools that can be used in youth work with the focus on open-air activities c) To discover the concept of digital youth work d) To reflect on future potential of digital youth work and its possible limitations e) To create new educational tools and learning methods aimed at developing behavioral and social competencies, pursuing social inclusion of the people with fewer opportunities through digital outdoor activities f) To develop digital methods of empowering people with diverse needs for youth work g) To share good and bad practices of digital youth work ( especially in within the outdoor context) to promote networking and cooperation between experienced youth workers/trainers
