Objectives

The problems that our society is currently facing are too numerous, and they are constantly increasing. One of the biggest problems is homophobia. Unfortunately this one does not date from yesterday but rather thousands of years ago. Our volunteers did some After did some research and they came to the conclusion that even today the situation has not changed, that there is still a fear and a feeling of hatred towards homosexuals. That time has moved on but mentalities have remained static, as if insensitive to the flow of time. This youth exchange aimed to do something about this issue. To inspire young people to be more acceptant towards others, to see things from different perspective and together to evaluate the situation in each participating country. To do this, the participants decided to use theater as a powerful tool to demonstrate things firsthand and make the audience empathetic and open enough to feel the sensitive issue presented. This project aimed to encourage participants to pursue their ideas, be more open towards others and not to judge their peers by the outside looks or their sexual orientation. Among others, this youth exchange aimed to help participants improve their soft skills, get rid of stage fright and empower them to speak up their mind.
