Objectives

The Mobisciences 2019 project is supported by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg and by associations in Europe or the Maghreb, all of which work on the development of scientific culture, especially among young people, notably through the organization of a valorization event of young science projects in Europe and elsewhere. These youth events should have been an opportunity for young people aged 12 to 25 to show to an audience, sometimes to a jury, the work carried out around scientific, technical or environmental themes within the framework of formal or non-formal education. All the partners of this project should have been on numerous occasions in international events. Each partner participated in a calendar of events throughout the two years (initial agreement + amendment) aimed at giving each group the opportunity to involve young people in each stage and to accumulate multiple experiences. The program included 5 meeting times in 5 different countries. The national groups were to be made up of about twenty young people rotating on the following different events: Each partner benefits from a calendar of events throughout the year allowing for each group to involve different young people for each stage and to accumulate multiple experience within the same country. This meeting allowed the emergence of a collaborative work through the creation of an audio and video report on the events that welcome them and their projects presented. The program included 5 times of encounter, the national groups consisted of 60 young people in total rotating on the different events: : - Expo- Sciences Luxembourg-Luxembourg, from March 26st to 30th,2020, of 50 young people from 13 to 25 years old, focused on the setting up, the production of images and culture exchange - Printemps des Sciences of Fes- Maroc, of 16 as of 20 April 2020, 27 young people between the ages of 13 and 25, focused on image production and cultural exchange - Science Expo Belgium, Brussels-Belgium, from 25 to 29 April 2020, 32 young people aged 13 to 25, focused on video production and image work - Regional Exhibition of Toulouse- France, from 19 to 24 May 2020, 35 young people from 13 to 25 years old, focused on audio production and radio presentation - International Congress of Zaragoza-Spain, from July 1st to 5th, 2020, of 27 young people from 13 to 25 years, focusing on public presentation and compilation of previous meetings The Mobisciences program has been made very difficult by the pandemic. Indeed, the restrictions around the health crisis did not allow us to be able to have our young people travel as initially planned. These meetings were to allow the emergence of a collaborative work during the demonstrations which would welcome the young people with their projects to be presented. Faced with the situation, we had to adapt and show imagination and creativity in order to maintain the Mobisiences program and continue to offer young people the possibility of exchange in science and cultures. The results had to be capitalized step by step via social networks to allow the creation of a community and to collaborate remotely and over time, and to prepare the presentation of their achievement virtually. Widely distributed to the institutions of the countries concerned, this project and its evaluation are intended to arouse wider interest in order to be continued and enriched by new partners for the benefit of a greater number of young people.
