On February 8-10, 2020, we implemented APV, in Moldova in Chisinau, after returning, as we already know, Covid19 happened and for the next 2 years, many processes, travel and trips stopped. Now, two years later, the leaders who took part in writing the project have already ceased to participate in the Young Folks LV youth organization, all the participants who were gathered into the team have grown up and also lost their relevance in the project. However, for two years we kept in touch with partners, postponed the project several times, and decided that this project would be needed for future leaders and teenagers, we were ready to carry out the project in the spring of 2022. When in February began a war in Ukraine, in the immediate vicinity with Moldova, which also is at a great risk of being involved in hostilities. Also, since the beginning of the war, the youth organization Young Folks shifted the focus of its activities to helping refugees, we organized a volunteer point at the bus station, where we still help from 8:00 to 00:00 seven days a week, and we provide assistance and support to 5,000 refugees a month, attracting over 300 volunteers. Therefore, having shifted part of the resources to volunteer projects, as well as due to the situation, and also the fact that we had already extended the project to the maximum up to two years, it turned out to be no longer possible to postpone the implementation for a longer period, therefore, together with partners, it was decided that the projects planned in Moldova will not be carried out.
