The international youth exchange project “How I influenced the world and how the world affects me” will take place in Livani, Livani county. In consultation with social workers, school representatives, the various NGOs in this project involve young people in rural areas far from regional centres, with occasional public transport traffic facing geographic and economic barriers so that these young people can be active members of society. In this way, let us help them out of their normal environment and learn different skills in an informal climate about promoting tolerance and creating intergenerational dialogues. The project will involve 8 leaders and 32 young people aged 13-21. A total of 10 participants will participate in the project from each country. Young people will come from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland. Project activities will take place between 10.03.2020-21.0 .2020, a total of 10 days with 2 travel days. The aim of the project is to reduce intolerance in society and to promote social inclusion dialogue. in the middle of society. During the project, project participants have been given a number of tasks to prepare for the project, to prepare all necessary home work in cooperation with their country for leaders and groups. The use of different methods throughout the day allows you to get to know yourself, so that you can better express your thoughts and represent yourself. Make a variety of table games that can be used by people from different generations of genders and nationals. The key value of the game is that in table games, everyone has the same rules that give equal opportunities to different people. To train young people to take the initiative instead of standing on the sidelines. Enabling young people to communicate with young people from other countries, share their impressions, learn about intolerance solutions in other countries. In particular, these skills and cultural awareness will be in national presentations, where each country will have the opportunity to share more information about its country and encourage it to become more familiar. Young people will be given the opportunity to use their communication capabilities in cooperation with long-term care establishment clients in joint activities. Non-formal learning methods will be used to consolidate young people (group work, “Ice breaking”, contacts through games and music, sports games) and groups. It will be important for young people to be better acquainted with each other, and for young people involved in the project to break out of their daily lives, to be free from shyness, to speak out publicly, to seek to change things in their lives, and to share with other young people through the information they obtain. Nor would young people learn language through this project and not shy away from speaking in the wrong English language, because the project's colloquial language will be English. Young people will have to learn to accept another country's culture, behaviour and mutual treatment. The result will be the willingness of young people to develop different projects in the local community, together with partners from other countries, to build their daily environment and to “pull out” from the negativity they sometimes see in their daily lives. Let us all succeed.
