The main aim of this project was to create a non-formal education platform where youth practitioners can gain awareness about the issues of human trafficking and migration, including the causes, consequences, and impact on individuals and communities in Europe. The project aimed to empower young people with the knowledge and skills to become advocates for change in their communities, prevent human trafficking, and support migrants and refugees, equipped with the necessary tools to create their own anti-trafficking projects based on their personal interests, talents, and hobbies. Our vision was to inspire youth workers to actively contribute to changing local human rights injustices, encourage them to become active citizens, engaging in their communities and taking action to address social issues, including human trafficking and migration. Through communication, leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution in a multicultural setting, the project aimed to improve young people's interpersonal and intercultural skills and foster cross-cultural understanding among young people from different countries, promoting mutual respect and appreciation for different perspectives. Additionally, the project aimed to promote diversity and inclusion among young people, recognizing the value of different cultures, languages, and backgrounds and their contributions to society, as well as build networks and partnerships among young people, organizations, and stakeholders to create a sustainable impact in preventing human trafficking and supporting migrants and refugees.
