Objectives

The youth exchange «Young Entrepreneurship – Imagining the jobs of the future» addresses the topics of «Social Entrepreneurship» and «Cultural Expression» as well as «Labor Market Issues: Youth Unemployment». Entrepreneurship is the main theme of our project and it reflects the needs of multiple European and partner country societies since all of them, for different reasons, are facing social exclusion and unemployment of youth. It aims to develop creative drive, a sense of opportunity and initiative, as well as useful tools in order to create a frame and a mindset suitable for entrepreneurial activities for themselves and their communities. Through meeting and cooperating with youngsters and young adults from all over Europe, one of the things we hope to achieve, is to spread European common values such as solidarity, openness, understanding and liberty in order to combat poor social mobility and marginalization through community building. These are our objectives for the project: - To enhance the entrepreneurial skills and employability of our participants, strengthening the stance of them and the beneficiaries of our partners as candidates in the labor market. - To raise awareness on the connection between marginalised young unemployed and radicalisation, creative processes and active learning, intercultural dialog, social exclusion. - To enhance the creativity, networks, initiative and innovation -mindsets of the participants. - To inspire and empower 60 young people from 12 different countries to be active change-makers in their communities - To develop the skills in communication, multilingualism, cultural insight, international teamwork, and public speaking of our 60 participants - To increase the cooperation, deepen and develop friendship between 12 participating NGO's from 12 countries - To show 60 participants how to use active and non-formal methods creatively with e.g. theatre sports to make other young people active in their local communities - To familiarise our 60 participants with the Erasmus Plus Programme, and how to use the Youthpass certificate in learning and careers - To connect youngsters and organisations with similar interests, and lay the foundation of future initiatives together.
