Objectives

Firstly, the objectives encompass the element of equipping youth workers with competences and methods for their professional development needed for transferring the common fundamental values of our society, particularly to the hard to reach young people. Competences of being stress-resilient are one of the most important competences to work with young people, especially those who come from marginalized backgrounds. Actually, if someone is not stress-resilient, all the other competences does not matter, because even if a youth worker knows some excellent, for example, theatre methodology, but he/she is so stressed/overwhelmed that he/she cannot even access this theatre knowledge and skill, then this skill is reduntant. Secondly, the objectives of the project are closely relatede to reaching out to people with fewer opportunities on both levels - first, by including disabled youth workers in the project (6 youth workers who take part in the training are disabled) and second, by including the organizations who work on a daily basis with really marginalized people (such as refugees - Jordanian organization or children from orphanages - Russian partner organization). Thirdly, the project will have high quality results and wide outreach thanks to publishing the ToolKit on the topic of preventing burn-out and bulding stress-resiliance among youth workers.
