The "Say Yes to EVS" project is a response to the needs of young people from Poland, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Italy in acquiring knowledge about the European Voluntary Service program and experience in the role of a volunteer. The youth who developed the project's proposal got to know each other during "Level Up Your Participation" youth exchange, which took place in May 2018 in Borsk (Poland). Our project aims to: - improvement of 8 key competences for project participants, in particular awareness and cultural expression, - encouraging participants to civic activity, especially volunteering, - gaining knowledge by participants about a specific program - European Voluntary Service within the Erasmus + program, as well as being a volunteer in one of the host institutions - creation of a cover letter for the selected host organization of volunteers (necessary in the recruitment process), - breaking the stereotypes of the local Czersk community towards foreigners, - preparing the offer of a volunteer project in the local communities of project partners; - exchange of "good practices" between youth organizations, expanding the network of contacts and strengthening cooperation between project partners, - promotion of the Erasmus + program and the European Solidarity Corps, including the European Voluntary Service
