Project idea was desinged on the former Training Course Youth Activator in Harmony hosted by Youth Support Centre on April 2019. Participants from Poland, Romania and Italy established partnership for this idea and prepared a draft during the free time on the project. The idea was developed regading open space activities on the Training Course Youth Activator in Harmony, when participants could lead workshops with the rest of the group sharing certain knowledge, tools, methods. Participants enjoyed this opportunity not only because of exchanging good practice but mainly because they wanted to improve their facilitation skills. They noticed a need for developing their competences in leadership and facilitation. Main aim of the project is to equip partnering organisations with well - prepared personel - youth workers - to work with young people on local, regional, national and international level with success. To give them certain knowledge, skills and competences based on non-formal methods and tools in facilitation of workshops for youth as well as icrease their self-confidence and leadership competences. We will accomplish the main goal of the project by: - providing youth workers with knowledge and experience on succesful facilitation - teaching effective methods that can engage young people we work with - teaching and providing direct examples to youth workers about leadership in youth work - improving youth workers knowledge and skills in using non-formal education's tools, methods and instruments - creating a booklet of innovative, tested, applicable workshops for youth - supporting youth workers in self and proffesional development - fostering international cooperation of partner organisations - developing follow-up activities on local level - building up capacity of youth workers and partnering organisations - promoting importance of developing leadership and facilitation among youth workers - creating a network of self-confident and professional youth leaders - facilitators ready to work with young people on local, national and international level - promoting Erasmus + Programme and European Union - promoting non-formal education - promoting partnering organisations as reliable and experienced partners The project links to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme and the Europe 2020 Strategy (Lifting young people out of the risk of poverty and social exclusion) by raising awareness of the ways to motivate and include young people into the society. Is also fulfills of the strategic framework for ET2020 (Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality, Improving the quality and efficiency of education and training, Promoting equity, social cohesion, Enhancing creativity and innovation) by creating space for the trainers to learn ways to support communication ways and enhancing the attitude of respect for diversity and the values of it by high quality professional seminar focused on leader facilitator skills. By making this project, we intentionally accomplish promotion of European values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities - by raising sensitivity of the youth trainers for the common issues among their youth groups and current social situation. These values are common to the Member States in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail. The project is also enhancing critical thinking and sense of initiative of young people as well as equipping youth workers with competences and methods for their professional development, as the seminar is designed to raise professional level of the role of the youth leader. Also, the project is caring about transferring the common fundamental values of our society, particularly to the hard to reach young people and preventing violent radicalisation of young people as well, by teaching the tools of facilitation which deal with these issues in a successful way and allows people to be free and honest in the same time, which raise their mormtivation to act in a socially engaged way.
