Objectives

The project's main aim was to increase young people’s interest in heritage and develop their skills relating to critical thinking to reverse nationalism. To do that, first, we needed to introduce and spread heritage learning in youth work and prepare youth workers and educators to work on this topic. The objectives of our project were the following: - learning best practices from, in particular, Global Link (a leader of cultural heritage projects in Lancashire) and other partner organisations - sharing "know how": how to organise living museums and educational activities focused on cultural heritage and understanding history - increasing understanding of non-formal education methodologies in learning about the history - increasing youth worker's interest in heritage and skills relating to critical thinking and creativity - increasing the capacity of partner organisations to develop multicultural heritage projects - creating a network of non-formal organisations focusing on cultural heritage education for young people and strengthening cooperation between partners. -sharing experiences of youth workers/educators/volunteers from the LFTP project.
