The participants of the international "European Identity" exchange will be young people aged 18-25 from Lithuania, Croatia and Poland in a total of 30 people. It will be school youth, students and NGO volunteers. They will be selected by national group leaders. The theme of the project will be issues that positively connect the peoples of Lithuania, Croatia and Poland, i.e. our shared history, both distant and recent, as well as tradition, promotion of intercultural and inter-ethnic dialogue, and issues affecting the future of our countries such as education or the market work. The main goal of the project is to promote the construction of friendly cooperation between our nations at the level of young people, which in the future will result in the rapprochement of these nations and the reduction of divisions and mutual resentment. Dialogue at both cultural and ethnic level, the essence of which is mutual knowledge and understanding, because these nations can only gain in getting closer. Our working methods will rely on non-formal education through the active participation of each person. Therefore, exchange participants will take part in various workshops, debates and work in groups that will create an opportunity for free dialogue and mutual learning. The project will deepen understanding between our nations in a spirit of European openness and unity. In addition, the effect of our talks will be the crystallization of the desire to organize another joint venture. We believe that they will be fruitful and allow for various inspirations for further work and social commitment, which will translate into a lasting increase in the potential of our organizations. At the same time, by undertaking promotional activities and disseminating the results of the project, we would like to convey its ideas and conclusions to a larger group of young people, both those from our local communities and the one to which we will have access via electronic means of communication.
