Objectives

The main goals of our project were to expand our knowledge and awareness in the field of healthy eating and to increase our culinary skills. In this way, we wanted to increase our independence and life independence as well as responsibility for our own health and condition. We are a generation that has been using parental care for a long time and is becoming independent late, and this reduces our readiness to study or work away from our family homes, especially if it is to be in other countries. In outdoor situations, we used to use fast-food, semi-finished products and other "junk food" without paying attention to their detrimental impact on our health. By implementing and participating in the project, we wanted to change this state of affairs. Based on the kitchens of individual countries, we intended to broaden our cooking skills. By getting to know recipes from different countries and preparing meals together, we wanted to learn how to prepare meals on our own and take care of ourselves and our own health. We wanted to learn to take care of ourselves and be reasonable in our decisions, so we wanted to expand our knowledge of healthy and rational nutrition and systematic physical activity. We wanted to learn how to change our eating habits and increase our physical activity. In the project, we wanted to make our peers and the environment aware of the impact of improper nutrition on our body and brain and its effects that lead to civilization diseases. Through personal involvement in the preparation and implementation of activities, we intended to develop our organizational and interpersonal skills. The international nature of the project gave us a chance to gain international contacts and friendships, overcome intercultural barriers and stereotypes. By using English in practice, we wanted to overcome our language barriers and develop communication skills with people from other countries.
