The "Do not give up" project is a continuation of joint activities of two groups of Polish and Slovak youth. Jointly implemented in 2018, the project concerned the threats of the 21st century on the part of cyberspace and addiction to the virtual world to the detriment of interpersonal relations. We noticed that there are many more threats. We are particularly interested in addictions that occur in our environment and pose a threat to us. The causes of addictions should be seen, among others, in the rapid changes that have occurred in recent years. The increase in unemployment (a few years back) has caused a deterioration of the economic situation of the Polish society. Cultural changes led to the erosion of the system of ethical values and moral norms, and this led to an avalanche increase in people reaching for psychoactive drugs. We observe a rapid increase in the number of addicts, and it affects mainly children and adolescents. We want to implement this project because we are worried about the increase in the number of addicts, we want to get to know and develop our own ways of counteracting addictions, being assertive in the peer environment - learn to "refuse", indicate substitutes and addiction to their peers. The objectives of the project are: - indication of both peers and the whole community, common position on the social risks of the 21st century in the modern world of dangers arising from addiction to alcohol, nicotine, highs, drugs, improper nutrition; - expressing their opposition to the mentioned addictions; - indication of the reasons for using the drug and elaborating and showing substitute routes to addictions (our interests, talents, sport, etc.); - raising and developing their competences and skills (eg language, sociological and mathematical - surveys), - developing your interests and talents of dance and vocal; - arousing the desire to know and counteract stereotypes (eg, that in Poland, alcoholics, etc.); During the implementation of our activities, we will develop a common position on what actions to take to counteract these threats. We will use our skills and interests, that is dance and folk singing, creating a vocal and dance watershed: "DO NOT GIVE UP". Our project was submittet in R2 round and was assesed with 69 pts. The expert gave us some recomendations which we took into our heart: it was connected with deeper cooperation with local cultural places, local media and better analyses before the youth exchange
