Exercise and healthy eating are an important aspect when it comes to health of children and youth. Shockingly, majority of young people do not achieve the fundamental movement skill proficiency expected for their age. We face similar situation when it comes to healthy diet- only 1/3 of young people eat fruits every day and only half of them have breakfast which is considered as most important meal of day. Those unhealthy habits of young people result in their poor physical and mental health, academic performance or even social status. All of us came from communities where healthy lifestyle is not the most important - usually we lack events for promoting it, local authorities do not invest in outside facilities where youth could exercise, like football or basketball courts, outside light gym in parks, low level of knowledge on how important healthy lifestyle is. Most of us then do not meet the current recommendation for physical activity of one hour per day, 5 or more days a week. These habits together with bad eating and missing knowledge about alternative ways to stay active are the reason for unhealthy lifestyle that majority of us live. CCDB (PT) is operating in Lisbon, Benfica area. There are beautiful parks, like the Parque da Mata de Benfica, football stadiums and other places where young people could spend their free time actively. Unfortunately, many of them rather choose to watch TV or play computer games, even worse spend times on the streets drinking/smoking. That’s one of CCDB main goals: to promote healthy active lifestyle, with sports on the focus, such futsal. Legaramlat (HU) is working with young people living in distant/troubled areas of Budapest. Even though there many are parks, open free facilities to exercise, many sport clubs and affordable gyms, we face a similar problem – young people having low understanding on importance of healthy lifestyle, thus choosing to spend their leisure time differently: playing PC games, watching TV, using social media or worse – simply on streets. Lilium (SK) is founded in town of Rimavska Sobota. There are no much free facilities or some open events promoting healthy lifestyle for young people to stay active. Town is in a very nice place close to the mountains, but only little hikes, trips or active time there is organized. We have talked about some reasons of unhealthy lifestyle and came up with those reasons: -unhealthy habits of youth usually come from families -youth is missing education about healthy lifestyle in school -there are no open facilities to exercise outside, youngsters don´t know about any other alternatives (doing exercise at home or playing games). Our goal was: To increase the level of physical activity of 54 young participants and teach them healthier eating habits as important aspects that lead to calmer mind and healthier body, or even better academic performance and happier life. Objectives: O1. To provide safe non-formal learning environment where 54 participants from 3 countries could discuss their ideas and attitudes about healthy lifestyle, its importance and main elements as valuable aspects that help to keep healthier lifestyle. O2. To increase skills, knowledge and attitudes of 54 participants from 3 countries about active lifestyle, alternatives for staying active and simple points for safe exercising. O3. To raise competences of 54 participants from 3 countries needed for ability to choose healthy diet and form healthy eating habits.
