This project is the 3rd one from the series organized by the same core team organizations and team leaders. The idea behind it is to give a different perspective to the participants about sustainable practices, healthier lifestyle, and deeper connection with oneself, others, and Nature. We liked to bring awareness on topics related to sustainability, regeneration, living in cooperation with nature and inspire youths to look deeper inside how they connect with the surrounding environment around them. The original idea of the first edition was given by a group of youths and each YE, including this one was inspired and created by a core group of youth leaders. One of the focuses of the creating process was to be an example for more youths and show them that working together in a team can create something very fruitful. The objectives of this project are: 01 To encourage intercultural interaction, cooperation, and creation of long-term connections amongst the participants that can outlive our project and lead future actions together; 02 To promote sustainability and healthy lifestyles; 03 Demonstrate how having a harmonious relationship with nature is deeply connected to the wellbeing of all of us; 04 To provide opportunities and practical tools for the participants to become active citizens in relation to the environment. By organizing this project in a multicultural outdoor camp in a rural area, the project aim was to revive interest in living in a natural environment outside large cities and attract more people to this desertified area, as well as to enhance cultural diversity and intercultural understanding. We want to raise awareness about the environment and cultural diversity, and inspire other people outside of the project to take more conscious actions towards sustainability and tolerance in their everyday lives.
