This project was developed in Peniche, Portugal and has lasted for 7 days, from 15th until 22th October 2021. The Youth Exchange was based on non-formal education; our aims were to bring together youngsters from different countries: Croatia, Portugal, Finland and Greece. We expected these youngsters to learn from each other through different dynamics and outdoor activities, as well as through the discussions and ideas they explored during the exchange. These helped them gain teamwork skills and decrease language barriers. Most of the organisations involved in this project work with youngsters with fewer opportunities. We achieve the following objectives: - Created consciousness of behavior in the young people; - Reflected about the policies of each country concerning the topic; - Discussed themes connected with the problem and their impact on lifestyle; - Motivated the participants to let them share knowledge and experiences, to inspire them to act as multipliers in terms of fighting racism and xenophobia. The choice of this theme - Intercultural Diversity in Europe – was due to the fact that in 2019 the minorities still not included in the communities and we could work the topic calling people from the local community to work together with other communities. Working together in a multicultural environment we could better develop ideas and motivation from the youngsters.
