Digital literacy is a set of knowledge and skills of an individual, needed to find, use, analyze and produce information, content, using different digital platforms and technologies. Given the technological advancement and the continuous process of digitization that marks the aspects of everyday life, good preparation in this regard should be part of the learning process of each person throughout life. Relevant to mention is especially the labor market, in which the abovementioned skills become almost indispensable. The digital economy at European level grows seven times faster than any other economy, and according to European Commissioner Marya Gabriel, we expect that after 2020, 90% of jobs will require basic digital knowledge, when in countries like Romania, in 2017, only 50% of the young people between the ages of 16 and 29, had basic or superior knowledge in this field. Although at EU level, the percentage for the same age category is higher, 40% of companies wishing to hire IT specialists, have problems finding qualified people, given that only 50% of young people have skills beyond their the base. The lack of measures to train employees in this regard in the workplace (88% of jobs do not envisage any measure to combat the lack of knowledge in the field) suggests the need to train young people in an attractive way, which will stimulate them to wish to learn more about this area through non-formal education. Moreover, given that in 2016, 91% of young people used the internet daily, compared with 71% of the entire EU population, it is necessary to develop the education of young people in order to use the internet in a safe and advantageous way for them. In meeting these needs, we propose the following objectives: Purpose: To raise awareness of the importance of digital education Objectives: 1. Development of digital skills relevant for professional and recreational activities among young people 2. Developing the critical thinking and skills to use the internet in a safe and ethical way 3. Informing 300 people on the methods of creating and managing digital content by running an online campaign about the importance of digital education using free digital team-building platforms such as Trello and Google Drive
