Multiple sources, researchers, and psychologists warn about the negative effects that social networks have on self-esteem, especially regarding adolescents and young people. The different forms of social aggression on media networks and their pressure sometimes have devastating effects on the entire lives of young people, even leading to depression and suicide. Although we spend a huge amount of time on social media, most users, especially young people, remain with negative emotions. Despite the desire to have positive feelings following the interaction on the social networks, when they see the happy posts of friends - about vacations, hobbies and parties, young people are often left with the bitter feeling that others enjoy life more than they do. In addition to the very long time spent online, what we were particularly concerned about was the lack of awareness and understanding of the negative effects that the unconscious use of social networks has on young people. Although they realize that the huge time spent online is not beneficial, very few are aware of the impact of this in their daily lives. Therefore, we have proposed through this project to raise awareness of the negative effects that the media and social media have on young people. The specific objectives of our project were: - Developing the skills of 36 young people to objectively analyze their own internet use practices. - Development of critical thinking of 36 young people.
