As we observed in daily life, people with learning disabilities have difficulties to learn something in the same way and as quickly as their peers and life is more challenging for them considering the development of the basic skills. The main idea of the project comes from our participants to integrate the disabled people to our activities. First, they established a team where they include also disabled people and they drafted the initial project of idea. After, they asked our help to create the project. They need to communicate with other young people and have more confidence in their own strengths. Giving the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and to travel abroad improve their self-esteem and make them more involved to the society. By implementing this project, we are aiming to create different activities which emphasize the participants’ creativity about their situations and give them the opportunity to see the other disabled people from different countries. So, mainly our project will promote inclusion and participation. The objectives of the project; with 18 disabled people who suffer from basic learning disabilities such as, dyslexia, dyscalculia, AD/HD etc.. and 18 non-disabled people -To increase the knowledge of 18 disabled participants and 18 non disabled young people to do artistic activities which promote independent life during the youth exchange period -To raise awareness of the 36 participants about disabilities to become more empathetic with each other -To improve the 36 participants communication skills with each other during the youth exchange period -To increase the knowledge of 36 participants about how to adapt the creative drama techniques to their lives during the youth exchange period
