By implementing this project, together with all partners, we aim to develop practical competences of young people regarding active digital citizenship. In order to achieve our aim, one of our objectives is to create a meeting point for 35 young people aged 18-22 to come together and to familiarize them with the rights and responsibilities they have in the online environment. Furthermore, we want to facilitate among the participants the understanding and know how on hate-speech (especially expressed in the digital environment) and cyberbullying - what are the causes and effects and finding out together ways to combat these phenomena. Also, we will develop a sense of active participation in the online world among the participants of the project and, in the same time, we will encourage them to be tolerant and inclusive. We will also increase the level of media and information literacy among participants by encouraging them to have a critical thinking. After the mobility, we will have workshops in the 5 local communities with the young people in which we want to raise awareness on the topic of our project and to encourage a responsible behaviour in the digital world.
