The goal was to discover what social entrepreneurship is and what are the related topics. In the process, we wanted to improve various soft skills like public speaking, teamwork and more. This was combined with a strong focus on social competencies and enabling participants to become friends with each other. In general, we saw how entrepreneurship can be a great tool for social change and is not only related to endless hustle for bigger and bigger monetary gains. Finally, we have noticed that there are not many girls engaged in entrepreneurship topics and feel like this has been a territory for mostly male participants. We wanted to cover the gender equality topics as well and also get more girls to take interest in entrepreneurship. We unintentionally had significantly more girls on this youth exchange than boys, so perhaps we achieved that goal. Also, we simply find youth exchanges very fun and have people in our team with different levels of experience. We are inspired by how a week together can unite people and wanted to provide a memorable experience for everyone. Including ourselves.
