The first goal which was largely achieved was the active involvement of the local youth team (in addition to the youth workers), for whom the preparation and implementation of the exchange represented an important learning experience and after which they expressed interest in further cooperation. We addressed topics related to overcoming stereotypes, which are important for everyday life, as young people expressed the need for in-depth acquaintance with the topic through informal work methods. We addressed the topics in a very practical way, also through socializing, getting to know other cultures and individuals, and conversations - both in the structured and unstructured part of the day. We have included various methods in the program, mostly related to art: theater of the oppressed; designing, shooting and editing a short film; conceptual art. With this, we also responded to the needs of young people who believe that school does not fully prepare them for a multicultural environment. Through the exchange, we successfully supported the needs of young people who want to work independently and take on responsibilities. By participating in activities about stereotypes, prejudices and intercultural differences, young people expressed their opinions and became empowered to co-exist constructively in the community. All participants recognized their own prejudices and the prejudices of others. They were encouraged to think and reflect. The achieved objectives of the exchange are: - support for youth initiatives, - recognition, awareness and overcoming of cultural stereotypes and prejudices, - promoting respect for human rights, - raising cultural awareness, discovering cultural differences, enabling intercultural dialogue, - improvement of critical thinking skills, - improvement of social, organizational and communication skills (soft skills), - improvement of digital competences (in the field of film). As the biggest achievement, we consider the local youth team, which took on a lot of responsibility for the implementation of the exchange and tested itself in teamwork. The atmosphere between them was good and constructive, despite some stressful moments, and we believe that this experience helped their skills in conflict management, group loyalty and other elements of teamwork. Thus, in particular, there was an improvement in their competences and skills, especially communication, teamwork, overcoming conflicts, perseverance. We believe that this will make it easier for them to cope with everyday life and in professional environments. They also experienced active participation in the local community, which we want to continue to be their field of activity.
