Through the implementation of the project, we offered young people the opportunity to achieve and exchange additional knowledge related to environmental protection, integration, and migration. The identified topics were selected on the basis of extensive collaboration with young people, who pointed out that these are topics that are very current but often overlooked, as they are not given enough attention within formal education systems, so young people often do not have enough information and knowledge so that they can independently create their own opinion and act in a socially responsible way. As part of the youth exchange, we carried out activities aimed at empowering young people with knowledge in the field of climate change in connection with migration. We organized workshops, lectures, field visits, sports gatherings and other activities for the participants in the project, with the support of which they gained a quality insight into the situation. During the implementation of the activities, young people learned about, acquired and recorded the key competencies of the Erasmus + program and learned about the opportunities available to them within the program by youth organizations. By involving young people and young people with fewer opportunities (especially people with a migrant background), we have influenced the promotion of solidarity among young people, the promotion of intercultural dialogue and the prevention of stereotypical views among young people. During the youth exchange, the participants also actively participated in the preparation of the author's initiative ("Bademantl dan") on the island of Maribor, with which they tried to draw the attention of the general public to the importance of environmental protection and the consequences of global warming. they also intensify the year and affect the quality of life of people around the world. Through the activity, we empowered young people with additional knowledge and skills, to bring them closer to the principles of social criticism and to bring them closer to actions and behaviors with the support of which they will have a positive impact on the environment in the future.
