Through „Powered by nature 3“ project we want to connect 42 young participants from 6 EU countries to bridge their differences and to work together for 11 days, explore and improve their social and job skills, grow as individuals and learn how to become more competitive in modern labour market. Through youth exchange activities the participants will develop their level of valuable job skills – Decision making and Coordinating with others. Simoultaneously they will develop and foster important life skills like communication, critical thinking, setting goals, creative expression, working in team, tolerance, leading a team etc. Through all the activities we will also try to emphasize European awareness among the youth, through our attitudes, values and cultural awareness and promote Erasmus+ programme as a fantastic opportunity for youth to learn and grow. The Main Objective of the project: - fighting youth unemployment through promoting "2020 job skills" to youth and helping them to become more competitive on labour market in present time, but also in near future. Other Objectives of the project: - exploring and developing Coordinating with others and Decision making skills of young participants through non-formal education format (workshops, seminars, games, challenges, exercises, quizess etc.), - promoting European cooperation in the youth field and attaining increased capacity of partner organisations to operate at EU/international level by modernisation of their activities and by internationalization of their managerial and organizational capacity through creating a strong partnership, - promoting mobility opportunities for youth by organising youth exchange project in international environment (in Slovenia with 6 EU partner organisations). The project will answer the needs of: - the participants - by strengthening their life and job skills and preparing them for future life, business opportunities and challenges; - the partner organisations – by strengthening their youthwork through organisation of the youth exchange activities and creating new non-formal educational programs for youth; - the labour market – which needs more creative, innovative and productive workers. According to our experience of fast changes in the world's labour market, burning problem of youth unemployment, lack of workers with needed job skills and already mentioned WEF report, there is a a great need to prepare young people for future jobs. Young people need to develop job skills that are needed for labour market (in this project we will learn on Coordinating with others and Decision making) and in that way be more competitive and qualified for future employment.
