Objectives

The aim of the project is to increase their self-esteem and competence not only about living in harmony with nature, but also to teach their lives, led by our ancestors, who respected nature and its protection, and to compare experiences on the topic with young people people from Slovakia and the Czech Republic who already have little experience with volunteer work in their associations and groups. These young people sometimes have difficulty completing secondary education, or even primary compulsory education. We also want to better inform them about volunteering activities, how they can be beneficial, directing them to future work, occupation, but also to leisure, self-realization and self-knowledge through the creation of our own volunteer activities during the exchange. Groups are composed of young people who come from different backgrounds - ordinary families, dysfunctional families, family replacement facilities and have a difficult life background. Often they do not have patterns from parents, grandparents and the family as such. They also need to be directed towards intergenerational learning, as they will also come into contact with older people at work and do not have this option in facilities. The exchange creates space and opportunities to connect with seniors from the community who can give them positive role models and be helpful in volunteering. Young people are also interested in volunteering, but are afraid and afraid to reach out to authorities, competent or respond to offers through the media. The aim of the exchange is to move and orientate young people from the Slovak and Czech side to know what opportunities they have in volunteering, what volunteering can bring them, what to develop them in, and to clarify the basic concepts - who is volunteer what is volunteering , its possibilities, how to react and how to create opportunities for self-realization, change or need.     Another aim is to teach this group of young people through non-formal education to better assert their interests and at the same time to tune in and know the needs of the community. How important we perceive them to feel that they are in control of something that is beneficial to society or the individual, and at the same time it can shift them, discover new skills and support the process of self-knowledge. At the same time, we want them to become aware of their skills, abilities, knowledge = their qualities, and, on the other hand, their dreams and desires, which they can also start to fulfill through volunteering.     The main idea of the exchange is also to realize the need for youth to participate in the exchange and preparation of the program themselves, thus contributing to the overall organization of the project and at the same time finding and implementing specific volunteer activities. The task of the group leaders will be to provide professional motivational and mentoring accompaniment respectively. accompanying, further be helpful in organizing individual days, or help to provide the necessary material for activities. In practical tasks and thanks to group coaching, space will be created for the presentation of young people, their skills with a link to dreams of how to work in their future working life. Sharing responsibilities will also increase the self-confidence of the participants, appreciating the leadership strengths of the young people involved in the project through feedback. The project will also create space for positive examples of successful young people who have succeeded in volunteering, found themselves, motivated to take an active and responsible approach and were not particularly afraid to assert themselves. The project will invite people representing different professions that are close to the participants and we will discuss and analyze the steps needed for their own success - an action plan.
