The goal of this project is to help eliminate racism in Slovak society and also on the international level. We want to give young people time and space to exchange their experiences and know-how, to build relationships and make suggestions for solutions that may improve the situation of integration of refugees, immigrants and people of different nationalities and ethnic groups into the majority society. To achieve this goal we want to prepare short videos of their personal life stories and also presentations of their cultures which is going to be shared in the process of dissemination of this project and in the future on social networks and the internet, in schools and educational organizations or different institutions. We believe that this project is going to help to eliminate the political radicalism of youth and the racist thinking of young people in Slovakia, Europe and worldwide. We will also create a lot of space for all participants to increase critical thinking, improve their English language and digital competences. During this youth exchange, we also provide opportunities to develop key competences for lifelong learning as citizenship competence, multilingual competence, the competence of science and technology, cultural awareness and expression, personal, social and learning to learn competences. This should help them to find better jobs in the future and become more effective members of our society. We also want to share awareness of Erasmus + programs for youth between young people in Slovakia and other countries. Important objective is also the networking between participating non-formal groups, organizations and young participants and the foundation of a platform for new initiatives, partnerships, ideas, and projects between participants themselves. We want to teach young people how to be a part of an effective solution-based intercultural dialog and prepare a catalog of solutions accessible to the bright public.
