Nowadays, more and more people choose a home to spend their lives, which is different from the country of their birth. More than 33 million people who were not born in the EU live in the European Union countries. There are more than 17 million people who were born within the EU, but live in a different EU country than their country of birth. Living together with people from different cultural backgrounds is often a challenge. Different cultural backgrounds cause different opinions, perspectives, religious and social differences, and differences in values on the same topics. These differences often lead to tension between people of different cultures, making it difficult for them to live together on a daily basis. Integration into society is made significantly more difficult by cultural differences. The project partners wanted to alleviate this phenomenon by teaching their youth workers methods that make their work easier. The methods and tools that we showed them in the framework of the training course held as the central element of the project will be useful tools in their everyday work. We aimed to increase the competence of the participants in the field of intercultural communication and cooperation, and we also presented several pedagogical tools, theoretical and practical methods. During the project, we aimed for the participants to recognize and accept the importance and raison d'être of all cultures, and to emphasize common values and interests. also promoting tolerance, equality, and solidarity, we presented several different communication styles, approaches and viewpoints. During the training course, the currently used and alternative methods and pedagogical approaches for people with different cultural backgrounds were presented to the participants. The project also significantly promoted the Erasmus + program, which in itself helps international and intercultural cooperation.
