Youth organizations and youth workers from Slovakia, Armenia, Georgia, and the Czech Republic identified the problem of youth radicalization in disadvantaged communities they worked with. They saw the need to equip youth workers with tools to prevent alarming support of violent and radical political parties and ideologies, including holocaust denial when working with “at risk” groups. To prevent the risk factors likely to lead to radical behavior of the vulnerable people in our countries and communities, our organizations organized a two-stage international training course “What’s next?”. A1 took place in Armenia and brought together 34 youth workers from Slovakia, Armenia, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Croatia. A2 was organized online - 34 youth workers from Slovakia, Armenia, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Croatia participated. The main aim of TC was to support, empower and develop competencies of youth workers so they can act on their local youth communities to create multiplier agents, promoting and encouraging information culture in order to prevent and detect violent extremism with a focus on “at risk” groups.
