People from different nationalities, religions, cultures and sexual orientations are frequently exposed to verbal abuse and hate speech in the society, as a result of which they lose their self-confidence and feel excluded from the society. Although the European Union tries to eliminate such behaviors, hate speech in various forms is still encountered in many European countries. Although the content and direction of hate speech may change, the existence and prevalence of this problem is clear both in the European Union and in the peripheral countries. In addition, important steps have been taken and successes have been achieved in the fight against hate speech at the level of both NGOs and governments, especially in northern countries. For this reason, it is aimed to carry the beneficial practices applied in these countries to the project participating countries in the fight against social indifference against hate speech and raising awareness. The main activity of the project was held in Denizli, Türkiye with 36 young people from Türkiye, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Czech Republic for 7 days between 19 - 27th of September. In this mobility, non-formal education activities, workshops, public meetings and similar activities were used to focus on solutions to prevent hate speech, and various public events were held at the project site. The targets set in order to realize the main purpose of our project were as follows: (1) To increase participants' knowledge on hate speech, human rights education and tools, (2) Creating new solutions for the prevention of hate speech through youth initiatives, (3) Introducing the “No to Hate Speech” movement and being informed about its participation, (4) To disseminate the project message and idea to young people and to wider communities through youth organizations, (5) To show participants how victims of hate speech can protect their rights, (6) To facilitate international youth cooperation on the project. The aim of the project is to promote values such as tolerance, equality and diversity, and to fight against concepts such as racism, xenophobia and discrimination. In addition to these, it is aimed to expand active citizenship, protection of victims' rights and the fight against hate speech. Among the objectives of the project was to develop participants’ social network skills and improve their other skills such as teamwork, leadership and presentation. During the youth exchange, these aspects and competencies were focused, and it was seen that the targets before the beginning of the project were achieved.
