Objectives

Intellectual Intelligence (IQ) is considered to have an important role in success in both work and private life. It is thought that successful performance in business life can be achieved by adding technical competence besides IQ. However, as a result of the research, it was found that IQ had only 20% effect on success. (Daniel GOLEMAN made the first serious study of emotional intelligence.) In today's business world, the features of emotional intelligence are the basis for management skills and their importance is increasing. Therefore, the importance of emotional intelligence training especially for young people is increasing. The field of youth work is an ideal field of study, as it covers non-formal education methods that can be used for these trainings and can reach a wide audience. Thanks to our project, we will develop international cooperation by bringing together participants from 4 different countries and sharing experiences with good practices. Most importantly, we will develop and implement more systematic educational strategies in the field of youth work by developing an innovative model based on non-formal education methods by organizing an international training on emotional intelligence and leadership training for young people and disseminating it with the contribution of our partners. Thus, our project; It will contribute to the European Union's 2020 strategy and Erasmus + Program priorities aiming at issues of Europe's career management / labor market and sustainable development, including youth unemployment. The main objective of our project, which we developed as eğitim Training and networking of youth workers ”, is; As Plato put it, "Learning has an emotional basis.
