Our general aim in realizing our project called 'We Start for the Future' was to raise awareness of social sensitivity among young people regarding climate change, which threatens our future. Here, starting an all-out struggle from the individual to the whole has been seen as a necessity for our planet. The most important causes of climate change are; The unavoidable increase in carbon emissions (fossil fuels are still the most widely used source of energy), the rapid pollution of our world (especially the use of plastic), the continuous increase in the use of greenhouse gases that damage the ozone layer, and the decrease in forest areas around the world every year (fires, economic reasons). ..) can be listed. Our project specific objectives were; - To give social messages about climate change, environmental cleaning and carbon emission (with seminars, posters, slogans, media and social media) - To raise awareness of the carbon footprint of the participants and indirect participants. - To raise awareness about clean transportation with bicycle activity. These two aims are in line with the Erasmus+ specific objectives 'Increasing active social participation, promoting initiative and solidarity'. -Discuss the behaviors and practices that harm the cycle of nature. -To investigate and disseminate the damage caused by climate change to nature and ecosystem. These youth goals are compatible with 'raising the level of basic skills and competences of young people, active citizenship, critical thinking'. - To research and exhibit the natural events of the last 20 years that are directly related to climate change. This aim is in line with the 2019 priorities 'media literacy as well as respect for human rights'. - Supporting healthy lifestyles with morning exercises, planting saplings, village visits, nature walks, environmental cleaning and cultural nights. This is in line with the strengthening of cultural dialogue, one of the youth mobility priorities, as well as its contribution to European sports policy. - Active use of English. This goal is in line with 'strengthening proficiency in foreign languages'. -Visits to institutions in charge of the environment and the future. This aim is in line with the youth specific objectives 'Promoting increasing the quality of youth work through increased cooperation between institutions and other stakeholders, especially in the youth field'. •The activities promote further scrutiny of Erasmus+ actions and cooperation among its participants. To achieve this goal; An Erasmus+ session with a detailed teamwork and discussion of new ideas on Key Actions and youthpass certificate presentation will be held. •Cultural sharing. Cultural nights will be organized where the partners will present their country presentations, meals, music and dances. -To draw the attention of decision-making institutions and organizations to environmental problems. In this context, we aimed to explain our project to Karasu District Governorate and Karasu Municipality. At the same time, each partner will visit the local municipality after the exchange and share the project outputs.
